My most used and favourite shades
My favourite shade on this palette is the green, every time i pick this palette i just want to use the green shade!!. A few other favourite are the Turquoise, Yellow and the Orange shades
Most of the shades in this palette are matte, but they vary a little in texture.
Whilst switching I noticed the more pigmented colours were more buttery and smooth, the softer colours applied a little bit more patchy and the shades don’t feel chalky in my opinion, however, there may be an odd one or two that can come off chalky, they were mostly buttery for me.
The lime green shimmer is very hard to apply, as the texture is like that of a pressed glitter, its extremely hard to get any colour payoff, especially with a brush, so I do recommend applying with your finger using a tap motion rather than a drag.
The gold shimmer is as basic as possible, its the least exciting shade for me as they pop this in most of their palettes, and looks super flat and basic when applied to the eyes, it doesn’t really give me the pop I want in an eye-shadow look with gold-brown shimmer.
Pigmentation & SwatchesThis is probably what most people are bothered about, and I can tell you guys the pigmentation pay off is so good, especially considering this palette is £4! Some shades were more pigmented than others, but most of the shades have a build-able element to them, the only problem there is that it can make blending out tougher and longer.
I definitely recommend popping a primer of some sort on your eyelid prior to applying these eyeshadows, as it will help the pigmentation pop. Concealer usually does the trick for me, but if you have super oily eyelids, opt for what you usually wear as you don’t want this slipping and sliding everywhere.
I’ve done some swatches for you guys to see for yourself, you can find more of my swatches on INSTAGRAM and YOUTUBE
